Amelia Lily has told One Direction to keep having fun with the opposite sex whilst they are young.

Some members of the group - particularly Harry Styles - have developed a reported taste for the ladies after leaving the X Factor in 2010.

The singer, who appeared on the X Factor in 2011, told the Daily Star that the group should take advantage of their youth and fame while they can. She said:

"I'm really proud of how [One Direction] have done. I love that they're young and every video they bring out looks like they're having so much fun. They have their fair share of women and why not – let them get on with it. We are young, so we should have fun with the life we live."

Lily meanwhile is expected to unleash her debut album in the summer and she added that it is set to be a mixed bag of music.

She said: "It's very diverse. There are lots of different sounds on there. I am excited for people to hear it and tell me what they think. There will be blues, country, rock, drum 'n bass and dance – people will be surprised. I wanted to make sure people wouldn't get bored of listening to me."
