The 'Les Misérables' cast remain No.1 album

The Les Misérables cast recording has managed to cling on to the top spot in the UK albums chart.

The soundtrack from director Tom Hooper’s big screen adaptation of the hit musical - which stars Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman - topped the official album chart for the second time today (January 27).

Emeli Sandé's 'Our Version Of Events' is a non-mover at No. 2 after an impressive 50 weeks in the charts.

Calvin Harris' '18 Months' is up one place to No. 3, while Rihanna's 'Unapologetic' has also climbed one place to No. 5 after 10 weeks in the chart.

One Direction's 'Take Me Home' has climbed three places to No. 8 after 11 weeks in the chart while Taylor Swift's commercially successful 'Red' is a non-mover at No. 12.
