Caroline Flack has dismissed speculation that she is in a relationship with X Factor winner James Arthur.

The Xtra Factor host has been snapped out and about with Arthur on numerous occasions, with the pair both recently seen leaving a club together.

Speaking to MTV News, Flack claimed that she purely just goes out with Arthur for "drinks" - insisting that her life is actually not too exciting. She said:

"We just go out for drinks. I expected that, if I ever go out with a guy, they like to make up some sort of story. I think it's because my life is so boring and if nothing else is really going on, you have to create some sort of soap opera. I'm not going out with James Arthur. [My life] is probably more boring that you think."

James Arthur meanwhile is currently on the X Factor Live Tour alongside the likes of Rylan Clark as the British public get to see the 2012 contestants in the flesh.
