GRAMMYs sends email warning about 'flashing the flesh'

Entertainment news portal Deadline has obtained an email sent by organisers of this year's GRAMMY Awards that contains a list of rules performers must abide by.

The ceremony is set to take place this Sunday (February 10) in Los Angeles and fans will be treated to live sets from the likes of Rihanna, fun., Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys and Taylor Swift.

The email message that has been sent to 2013's performers clearly states that overtly provocative and "problematic" outfits, which show "female breasts", "buttock crack" and "the genital region" will not be allowed: "Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack.Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples."

"Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible 'puffy' bare skin exposure," the message adds.

Branded clothing or garments with visible foreign language slogans are also on the list of things to avoid.
