Blue joins ITV's Big Reunion series

Blue are taking part in ITV2's new Big Reunion television series.

The programme aims to reunite nostalgic pop groups and was originally due to feature 5ive, B*Witched, Atomic Kitten, 911, Honeyz and Liberty X.

Blue, who disbanded in 2005 but reconvened four years later, have now confirmed that they will feature on the show.

They will also play a spin-off gig at London's Hammersmith Apollo on February 26. In statement, the group said:

"We didn't forget you here at home in the UK and it's been a secret hard to keep. We are excited and pleased to announce we are indeed part of ITV2's "The Big ReUnion" alongside Atomic Kitten, 5ive, 911, BeWitched, The Honeyz & Liberty X. Together with this amazing line up we will be performing live at The Hammersmith Apollo in London for one night only - so don't miss us and all the action on ITV2, Thursday nights."

Blue, however, are releasing new album 'Roulette' in the UK later this year, although it has already been released in some countries on mainland Europe.
