Justin Bieber endured a moment of embarrassment recently after being snubbed by a Manchester nightclub.

The Canadian is currently touring the UK and Ireland as part of his worldwide Believe tour.

He was performing at Manchester's MEN Arena on Thursday (February 21) as his UK jaunt picked up the pace.

However, it seems he couldn't charm his way into the club Sankeys despite his international fame - and he was denied entry. They said on Twitter:

"Yes the rumours are true...we turned Justin Bieber away last night. He shuffles on stage and we can't be having that in Sankeys now can we!!"

Sankeys' Twitter bio meanwhile describes the club as a place where "people come to dance".
