Stooshe explain debut album delay

Stooshe have revealed that they postponed the release of their debut album because they weren't happy with how it was sounding.

The talented pop trio were scheduled to unleash their self-titled maiden record late last year but it has been regularly pushed back.

Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, Courtney Rumbold said that they were about to sign off the album before they decided to make the record even better. She said:

"Do you know what? We were actually listening to the album when we were signing stuff and we weren't happy as a band. That's our baby and our most passionate thing. We didn't want to put it out with it not being perfect, so we took a bit more time, wrote a few more songs, and then we're going to bring it out."

The singer added: "Yes, it's taken us a long time, but we didn't want to give you anything that we wasn't happy with."
