The Wanted have recorded "a corker" with Ed Drewett

Singer-songwriter Ed Drewett, who is known for collaborating with Professor Green on 'I Need You Tonight', has revealed that he recently worked with The Wanted and together they recorded a potential smash-hit.

Drewett has previously co-written 3 tracks for the UK based boyband, including 'All Time Low', 'Lightning' and 'Glad You Came', and told Digital Spy that they have put together a new song that could be fantastic if their record label accepts it:

"I was in a writing session with Tom [Parker] and Max [George] a few weeks ago. We wrote an absolute corker, which still needs to be finished. We'll see what the record label thinks of it."

He added that The Wanted have a good shot at success in America, too, because their music is strong enough to break through into the U.S. market: "I think despite the current charts in the States, with the dance wave taking over, they can still hear a good, real song. That's what 'All Time Low' is, so if it's given the right chance I think it'll be a smash."
