One of Lady Gaga's friends has denied claiming the singer is set to tie the knot with boyfriend Taylor Kinney this year.

The 'Born This Way' star is happily dating the actor and Lady Starlight reportedly said that she believes a wedding is impending.

The DJ allegedly said that she was so sure of her friend's devotion to Kinney that an announcement of their wedding would be made "soon". Her quote read:

"From all I've heard, I don't think I'm dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year. There's a summer period when his shooting schedule will be clear and her concert and studio commitments will be minimal, so expect an announcement some time soon. She spends so much time in Chicago, because that's where Taylor needs to be. So when she has time to be wherever she wants to be, she'll be with him."

She reportedly added: "[Gaga] told me he's the one and you know that instantly when you see them together. They were made for each other. At first I thought he was too hot to be cool but now I think he's totally awesome."

Howeber. Lady Starlight later took to Twitter to denounce the quotes, saying:

"Wow @daily_star making up quotes. Anyone who ever spoke to me would know I would never say the words 'get hitched' nxt time do ur research."
