Frankie Cocozza has launched a tirade of abuse against Simon Cowell.

The outspoken singer appeared on the 2011 series of the X Factor but he was thrown out after breaking a golden rule.

Speaking to Star magazine, Cocozza said that he has had little contact with the X Factor supremo - just an online chat. He said:

"No, we only had a Skype conversation. He made the background look proper fancy, cocky b*stard, sitting in LA. You don't need to put the laptop there, do you, Si? Put it against the f**king wall!"

When asked if regrets not having the chance to meet Cowell, Cocozza replied:

"Nah. I'd like to meet him now so I could spit in his eye."
