Following his recent performance at SXSW festival in Texas, iconic musician Prince has confirmed details of a full U.S. tour that will take him all over the west coast.

The exciting news was revealed by his backing band, 3rd Eye Girl, during a podcast hosted on fansite Drfunkenberry earlier this week.

The shows will see the 'Raspberry Beret' hitmaker perform in Las Vegas, Seattle and San Francisco. Prince is set to play two shows per day at each venue, one in the daytime and then another at night.

Ticket information for all of the concerts is yet to be announced, but is expected at some point next week. The full list of tour dates is as follows:
