Dido: 'I almost didn't give Eminem the 'Stan' sample'

British songstress Dido has opened up about her 1999 collaboration with American hip-hop heavyweight Eminem on the track, 'Stan'.

Speaking to Radar magazine, the 'White Flag' star explained that she was shocked when the rapper contacted her about using a sample of her song 'Thank You', and was initially reluctant to let him use it:

"I got a letter from him out of the blue with a CD just saying: 'I love the track. Can I use it?' I was a proper fan but I did think for a moment: 'What's he going to have done with the song?' But it just sounded amazing."

Earlier today (March 26), Dido unveiled the official lyric video for her new single 'End Of Night' and tweeted: "The second single from 'Girl Who Got Away' will be 'End Of Night' (produced by Greg Kurstin) - it's out May 5th."

The hitmaker also shared a snapshot of the single's artwork, which you can see below.
