Kendrick Lamar: 'I'm using my new found money to treat my family'

'Swimming Pools (Drank)' rapper Kendrick Lamar has revealed that now he is rising steadily to fame, he is more excited to spend his earnings on his family than himself.

The hitmaker has been enjoying a strong climb to success over the past year and explained to Britain's 'The Sun' newspaper that his family have always supported his dreams so now it's time to pay it forward:

"Now that I'm financially stable I'm able to help them. That's all I care about. I haven't bought myself anything yet. My biggest purchase for them was buying them a house and seeing my brother go to college."

"My family always pushed and supported my dream so I can help them with theirs. And they are so proud."

Meanwhile, Lamar has been confirmed to perform at this year's Wireless Festival in London and he will play a live set on Saturday, July 13.
