The Rolling Stones "can't wait" for Glastonbury gigThe Rolling Stones have revealed their delight at headlining this year's Glastonbury Festival. As previously reported, the veteran rockers were announced alongside Arctic Monkeys and Mumford & Sons as the festival's bill-toppers. The slot will follow on nicely from their 50th anniversary shows in London and the US last year, which were hugely popular. Speaking about the announcement, guitarist Keith Richards said: "We all had such a ball last year, and the energy between the band is so good. We can't wait to play Glastonbury." Ronnie Wood added: "I've been using all my persuasive charm on the boys for a few weeks now. Really pleased to be doing it. Can't wait to be getting out on that stage at Worthy Farm."
