Video emerges of Dappy "hitting gig-goer with microphone" at club gig

Dappy has been accused of hitting an audience member with his microphone at a recent show.

The Sun allege that the rapper smacked a fan whilst performing at Hereford's Play nightclub on Friday night (March 30).

The newspaper have posted online a video of the reported incident, which appears to show Dappy striking a member of the audience with his microphone.

The rapper is then restrained by a member of security - and he is said to have then left the stage.

The Sun quotes Dappy as saying that he was trying to prevent a glass attack from happening, with the 'Bad Intentions' star stating:

"I swung to disarm the glass from his hand. If that glass had hit me it could have been fatal."

The news comes just weeks after the rapper was given a suspended sentence after being involved in a petrol station brawl last year.
