Kevin Liverpool, 35, was jailed for life after being found guilty of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to rob after a three-week trial. He will serve a minimum term of 10 years and eight months. 32-year-old Junior Bradshaw was convicted of the same charges, although his sentencing was adjourned. Speaking outside Exeter Crown Court today (April 3) Stone's mother, Wendy Joseph, said: "Joss and myself and indeed our whole family are relieved that the trial is now over and that these men are no longer in a position to cause harm to anyone. Joss would like to thank everybody for their support and their good wishes." The pair were arrested a few miles away from Stone's home on June 13 2011 where they were found with a samurai sword, knives, bags and gloves in their car. Notes found alongside the weapons explained the two men accused intended to decapitate the 25-year-old songstress before dumping her body in a river.
