The Flaming Lips have revealed that they are collaborating with Ke$ha on a new record.

The unlikely pair have worked together in the past on the Flaming Lips' track '2012', which featured on the album 'The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends'.

In a Q&A with Reddit, Wayne Coyne praised the flamboyant singer and confirmed that they are planning a new, full release. He said:

"She is a blast on all levels. She's funny, she's humble. She's badass. She's everything. She's awesome. We're actually already working on an album with her. It's called 'Lip$ha'."

As previously reported, Ke$ha recently unveiled a trailer for her upcoming documentary My Crazy Beautiful Life.

The film cameras followed the singer around on tour for two years as she went through the highs and lows of life.
