Black Sabbath confirm UK tour

Black Sabbath have announced a UK tour due to take place later this year.

The veteran heavy metal band will play six shows in December as they promote their forthcoming new album '13'.

The record will be their first with original singer Ozzy Osbourne since 1978's 'Never Say Die!', with Rage Against The Machine sticksman Brad Wilk signed up to play drums.

The group will kick off their tour at London's O2 Arena on December 10 before playing a number of shows around the country.

Sabbath will then conclude the jaunt five days before Christmas with a homecoming show in Birmingham.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am UK time on April 12. The full schedule is as follows:

  • December 10 - London, O2 Arena
  • December 12 - Belfast, Odyssey Arena
  • December 14 - Sheffield, Motorpoint Arena
  • December 16 - Glasgow, Hydro
  • December 18 - Manchester, Arena
  • December 20 - Birmingham, LG Arena
