A new list of performers for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards has been released today (April 25).

The ceremony is due to take place on May 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will now feature live sets from the likes of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Pitbull, Selena Gomez and Christina Aguilera (shown below).

Artists leading the nominations for this year's event include fun., Maroon 5 and Taylor Swift who have each racked up an impressive 11 finalist positions each, and Rihanna who has been nominated for 10 different prizes.

A host of other acts have already been confirmed to perform at the Billboard Music Awards, which is going to be hosted by '30 Rock' actor Tracy Morgan, such as Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars.

Fans are also invited to vote for the Milestone Award, sponsored by Chevrolet, at Billboard.com/milestone.
