Little Mix on second album: 'We know what works and what our fans like now'

UK based girl group Little Mix have admitted that working on their sophomore studio album will be an easier experience as they feel like their sound and style has now been established and they're more aware of what their fans enjoy.

The 'DNA' beauties have started work on the follow up to their 2012 debut and Leigh-Anne Pinnock explained to Digital Spy that the first session went really well:

"It was really good. We didn't know exactly what we wanted to do, so we had to go in and listen to loads of different things."

"We've got quite an idea of what we want it to sound like now."

Songstress Jesy Nelson added that they all have a more clear direction now about where to take their sound: "We all have the same vision with how we want the next album to sound. That's what was good about the first album - we got an insight into what our fans really like."

"It was really exciting when we got back in the studio as we got to listen to loads of beats and what kind of sound we are going to go for. I can't wait."
