Rita Ora: 'Fashion and music fuse perfectly so I could see myself working in both'

'Shine Ya Light' beauty Rita Ora has confessed that transitioning from music into the fashion world would be a fairly seamless move because the two industries are so tightly linked.

When asked if she would like to design her own clothing line eventually, the beauty explained that she's definitely interested in that concept: “I could see myself designing a range in the future, but it would have to be very thought through.”

Referring to how she currently uses her sense of style alongside her role as a pop star, Ora added that she creates on-stage personas with fashion that in turn give back to the music:

"It’s another side to your character — you can play different roles with your clothes. As a musician I have a lot of opportunity to try different styles when I perform, and I have always loved vintage clothes."

“For me British fashion is so unpredictable, I love that. I love how music and fashion are so similar. We need each other. At the moment music feeds off fashion and fashion feeds off music and when they get together they fuse perfectly.”
