Blue reminisce about their school days

UK boyband Blue have spoken to MTV about what they were like at school.

The lads opened up about their behaviour in the classroom and confessed that on the whole they were a cheeky bunch of students. Duncan James admitted that he was mostly well-mannered, but enjoyed messing around with his friends:

"I was made prefect once and then they took it away from me in the first term; took my badge off me because I was always late for my prefect duties. I was a bit of a teacher's pet, but I used to hide behind curtains in the drama room and wait for the girls to come in [and scare them]."

Member Antony Costa spoke about being naughty and 'putting chewing gum in girls' hair', but explained that his greatest school achievement came after he graduated:

"After being in Blue, I went into the West End in 'Blood Brothers'. On Thursday afternoons, our matinees - kids would come for their GCSEs because 'Blood Brothers' was part of the syllabus. I remember running out about to do my scene, I looked out and saw my old drama teacher and new school of kids."

"It was a great achievement for myself because I remember him taking us, being in their position, watching 'Blood Brothers' and being in awe of the whole show. He looked at me - I came out and was about to do my speech and he looked at me and winked and I carried on. It was wicked."
