A woman was subdued by an air marshal during a recent flight between Los Angeles and New York for singing a Whitney Houston song over and over again, but she became so disruptive that the plane had to make an emergency landing.

The U.S. Airways flight was forced to make an unscheduled stop in Kansas City where the unnamed woman was removed from the plane in handcuffs by officers. According to passengers, she began wailing the words to Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' halfway through the flight and because she could not be contained, action had to be taken.

Joe McBride, a spokesperson for Kansas City Airport, explained: "The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew. There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane."
