Nick Grimshaw has insisted he still loves Robbie Williams despite the singer having a go at him for calling his music "irrelevant".

As previously reported, the 'Take The Crown' star took aim at the BBC Radio 1 DJ at an awards ceremony recently after his show seemingly dodged playing his new music last year.

However, it seems there's no bad blood between the pair, with The Sun quoting Grimshaw as saying that he's still a fan of the singer. He said:

"I think he was so funny. I love him and he's really cool. He should have his own radio show. I'd have him on every morning."

The DJ added: "It's all nonsense – my show played 'Candy' twice."
