Louis Walsh has confirmed that he and Gary Barlow will take up their seats on the X Factor judging panel once more.

The duo featured on last year's series, but it has been unclear for months who will be the judges on the 2013 show.

However, Walsh told RTE that he and the Take That man will return - and he reckons former judge Sharon Osbourne will follow suit. He said:

"I'm back, I am definitely back. Me and Gary, we're the bookends and I'm sure Sharon Osbourne's back and I helped to get her back, because she's great fun."

Speaking about the fourth judge, the Irishman said: "I hope it's going to be Tulisa or Nicole. It might be Mel B, I don't know! But I think it probably will be Nicole."
