Beach Boys join JLS and The Saturdays for Hyde Park concert

The Beach Boys are the latest act to be added to the line-up of a special performance in London’s Hyde Park this summer alongside pop groups JLS and The Saturdays.

The diverse line-up will make up part of the programme for A Day At the Park, an event featuring children’s entertainment from The Gruffalo, Horrible Histories and Braniac.

The show will be a part of a series of events called the Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time. The series already boasts performances from Elton John, The Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi along with a variety of activities for ticket holders to enjoy.

President of International Live Touring and AEG Live Rob Hallett used the new announcement as an example of how the series will be fun for the whole family:

"Junior can be enthralled with the Gruffalo and your daughter can scream at JLS while your parents dance around to The Beach Boys. Everyone’s happy!" he said.
