Rod Stewart postpones London dateRod Stewart has pulled the first date of his UK and Ireland arena tour because of illness. The veteran singer was due to perform at London's O2 Arena tonight (June 6) but it has been postponed because he is suffering from a bronchial virus. The show has been moved to July 11 at the same venue, with original tickets valid. His next date at the Manchester Arena on Saturday (June 8) is still scheduled to go ahead as planned. Speaking about the postponement on Twitter, Stewart said diplomatically: "Hate letting down all going to the O2 tomorrow, but happily been able to reschedule for July 11th. Wish me well as I do you." The singer's latest album 'Time' meanwhile hit No.1 in the UK charts after it was released on May 13.
