Disclosure edge past Queens of the Stone Age in UK album chart race

Disclosure have overtaken Queens of the Stone Age at the top of the UK albums chart.

As previously reported, the US group were sitting pretty at No.1 with their new record '...Like Clockwork' when the midweek update was released on Wednesday (June 5).

However, the Official Charts Company revealed today (June 7) that British electronic outfit Disclosure have overtaken them with their debut effort 'Settle'.

They are currently on 2,000 units ahead of Queens of the Stone Age as the race for Sunday's (June 9) No.1 hots up.

Elsewhere on the pre-weekend chart update, Miles Kane is at No.6 with his record 'Don't Forget Who You Are'.

Robin Thicke meanwhile maintains his place at No.1 on the singles chart with his track 'Blurred Lines'.
