20-year-old singer Conor Maynard is "really excited" to be releasing a book later this year.

The 'Animal' hitmaker will detail his rise to fame in an illustrated memoir titled 'Take Off'.

Maynard can't wait for the tome to hit shelves and said in a statement, according to Digital Spy: "I'm really excited to be releasing a book this autumn. It's been an incredible journey over the last few years and I can't wait to share my story and meet as many fans as possible out on the road at book signings."

'Take Off' will be available in both digital and print copies in October 2013.

The upcoming book will feature previously unseen photos of the star, with the publisher inviting fans to submit photos of themselves with Maynard to be included in the memoir.

Maynard has enjoyed huge success with his debut album 'Contrast' which has spawned the popular songs 'Turn Around' and 'Can't Say No' to name a few.
