Oasis's hit song 'Wonderwall' has topped a poll to find the best song of the last 20 years.

The 1995 track came out trumps in a poll run by Australian radio station triple j, with more than 940,000 people registering their vote.

In second place on the list was the White Stripes' 'Seven Nation Army', whilst Jeff Buckley's 'Last Goodbye' grabbed the bronze medal.

At No.4 was Hilltop Hoods' 'The Nosebleed Section' and No.5 was The Verve's 'Bitter Sweet Symphony'.

More recent entries included Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know' at No.6 and Mumford & Sons' 'Little Lion Man' at No.14.

The US meanwhile accounted for 42 tracks in the top 100, whilst Australia and the UK had 29 and 24 respectively.
