Amanda Bynes in talks for rap album deal

Hollywood actress Amanda Bynes is tempted to move from the big screen to music and is currently negotiating a deal to sign with Chinga Chang Records.

David Herman, from the label, confirmed to Perez Hilton that he is keen to sign Bynes because his label would be the perfect place for her to launch a hip-hop career:

"The fact that Amanda wants to do hip-hop music means that Chinga Chang label is the best place for her to do this, because of my past experience with bringing pop and legitimate hip hop together."

He added that he has now reached out to her attorneys in order to strike a worthwhile deal: "I cleared the project with The Orchard and Sony Entertainment and they gave me the green light to go ahead."

Bynes, meanwhile, has made headlines recently for her online Twitter feud with gossip star Perez Hilton after he posted an article about someone he claimed to be her at a trampolining gymnasium in Buffalo, New York.
