Eve: 'I'd love to collaborate with Gwen Stefani again'

'Tambourine' hitmaker Eve has opened up about her return to music and new album, and also revealed that she's hoping to reunite in the studio with No Doubt beauty, Gwen Stefani.

The pair collaborated back in 2001 on 'Let Me Blow Ya Mind' and then again in 2004 on Stefani's track, 'Rich Girl', but Eve has now confessed that she would be interested in working on a new joint project if the opportunity arose:

"I would love for me and Gwen to get in the studio now - where we both are now. Both of our lives have changed so dramatically since that song. We're older now, and I'd love to see what we'd create. Hopefully that will be happening at some point - we'll put the call out."

Eve's new album 'Lip Lock', which is her first in over ten years, is due out this week and she explained that she prefers the state of the music industry now compared to how it was when she was younger:

"Honestly, I prefer it now. If I want to record some s**t tonight and put it out tomorrow, I can. Before, everything was so calculated and controlled. There's instant gratification now! Although I have to say, I miss the money that used to be in music. I miss those frivolous music videos that cost $1 million! The world is different now."
