Black Sabbath lead UK midweek album chart

Black Sabbath are on course to land their first UK number one album in 43 years with their comeback album, ‘13.’

The metal legends’ first studio release with Ozzy Osbourne since 1978’s ‘Never Say Die!’ is currently at No.1 in the midweek charts ahead of new releases from Beady Eye ('BE') at No.2 and Boards Of Canada ('Tomorrow’s Harvest') at No.3.

Last week’s chart-topper, Disclosure’s 'Settle,' drops to No.4, Rod Stewart’s 'Time' is at No.5, while KT Tunstall’s fourth LP, 'Invisible Empire/Crescent Moon,' enters at No.7.

Elsewhere, there are also debuts for Status Quo’s ‘Bula Quo Ost’ at No.13, Mark Owen’s ‘The Art Of Doing Nothing’ at No.18, Jimmy Eat World’s ‘Damage’ at No.21 and Goo Goo Dolls’ ‘Magnetic’ at No.34, while Taylor Swift’s Red leaps up 15 places to No.10.
