Tulisa Contostavlos's ex-boyfriend and former N-Dubz bandmate Fazer has revealed that hearing about her recent arrest for suspicion of supplying class A drugs was "a bombshell".

During an interview with Star magazine, Fazer explained that while his reputation isn't squeaky clean he was genuinely shocked by the allegations made about the 'Live It Up' singer and 'X Factor' judge:

"She should have known better. It paints a bad picture of all of us. I'm no angel, but I don't condone drugs. I don't smoke weed. I keep my nose clean. I'll probably tell T: 'Do an anti-drugs campaign."

He added that despite this terrible news, he hopes people will keep the wider picture in mind and still recognise how she has shaped her life in a positive way:

"Tulisa tried to be a great role model to young girls, especially those who have had similar issues, like being a carer. She's still young and learning- but in the public eye. Everyone points fingers but look at what she's done with her life."
