'Fashion Police' host Joan Rivers has taken a swipe at Rihanna on social networking site Twitter about a fan's recent claim that she contracted the herpes virus at her recent concert in Brooklyn.

Last month, 28-year-old Starkeema Greenidge filed a lawsuit against MAC cosmetics after a make-up artist applied the 'Riri Woo' lipstick directly onto her mouth at the Brooklyn leg of the 'Umbrella' superstar's 'Diamonds' world tour, which gave her herpes.

On June 16, Rivers tweeted about the unfortunate news and wrote: "A Rihanna fan claims she got herpes at a Rihanna concert. Two questions: How close was her seat, and how short was Riri's skirt?"

This isn't the first time that Rivers has taken aim at Rihanna, as back in August 2012 she joked about Chris Brown's assault on her after watching the Oprah interview and tweeted: "Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it's MY turn to slap her."

Upon reading the message, the 'Where Have You Been' beauty replied: "@Joan_Rivers wow u really do get slow when you're old huh?"
