Robin Thicke manages to hold on to UK No.1 as Jason Derulo closes in

'Blurred Lines' by Robin Thicke has been named the UK's No.1 single in today's (June 19) midweek chart update, but Jason Derulo's new offering will give it some tough competition.

Thicke's chart-topping hit has managed to hold onto its coveted top-spot position, but according to the Official Charts Company is only 7,000 copies in front of Derulo's new release, 'The Other Side', which debuted at No.2 this afternoon.

Dizzee Rascal's collaborative single with Robbie Williams, 'Goin' Crazy', has made an appearance at No.4, Tom Odell's 'Another Love' has entered at 11, and Ke$ha's 'Crazy Kids' is new in at No.37.

Elsewhere in the UK Top 40, Psy's 'Gentleman' has dropped 14 places to No.31, Bastille's 'Pompeii' is this week's highest climber up 6 to No.24, and Demi Lovato's 'Heart Attack' is a non-mover at 18.
