BBC admits making boob over Holly Willoughby's revealing Voice dress

The BBC have issued an apology for a dress worn by presenter Holly Willoughby on The Voice.

The singing competition broadcast the final episode of its second series at the weekend but it was the female host that caught much of the attention.

Willoughby wore a revealing black dress which attracted over 100 complaints from the public who believed it showed too much cleavage.

The BBC have now said: "We're sorry if some viewers found Holly's dress to be unsuitable."

They added that they thought the dress was "glamorous and wholly appropriate for the occasion".

Northern Ireland's Andrea Begley won the final, beating off competition from bookies' favourite Leah McFall.
