Kanye West secures US No.1 album

Kanye West's new record 'Yeezus' has topped the US albums chart.

The rapper notched up his sixth No.1 in the country with the release, which also reigned supreme at the weekend in the UK.

It shifted 327,000 units in the past week to become the third fastest selling record of the year in the States.

However, that figure is less than industry predictions, which suggested that it might have sold half a million.

Second on the US albums chart meanwhile is J. Cole's 'Born Sinner', whilst Mac Miller's 'Watching Movies With the Sound Off' is in at No.3.

Kelly Rowland's 'Talk a Good Game' lands at No.4 on the list, meaning that this week's top four records are all new entries.
