Wiley says he is being forced to play Glastonbury: 'Everybody is getting sacked'

Grime star Wiley has taken to his official Twitter page this evening (June 27) to tell his fans that he's not happy about having to perform at Glastonbury this weekend.

The 'Heatwave' hitmaker is due to perform at the iconic British festival over the weekend but has revealed that he doesn't want to appear and that Glastonbury "ain't paying me enough" for the live set. He wrote:

"Can't believe I am here and I should with 6 competition winners watching @OfficialChip at Kandi beach.and then a boat party..but I'm ere. Everybody is getting sacked. Dear God Please Strike John Woolf (Wiley's manager) Down."

"F**k it life goes on but I am p**sed. Glastonbury ain't paying me enough to leave my comfort zone ...tight b**tards. For those who don't know I ain't on the earth cos of Glastonbury or capital summertime ball ...don't dare say they made me cos they never. Capital ball Glastonbury And wireless can all f**k off as far I'm concerned."

Wiley then took another swipe at the fee artists get paid to perform at the festival, adding: "I'm gonna tell all the promoters how much Glastonbury get away with paying people and the other festivals will think wtf. People don't know I prefer hackney downs or clisslold park alldayer vibes ..obviously ...f**k a rainy festival on the West Country tbh.."

He continued the rant by publicly messaging one of Glastonbury's organisers and 'begging' her to take him off the line up: "@emilyeavis please can u take me off the line up I beg ya..."
