X Factor's Rylan Clark: "I encounter homophobia every day"

Rylan Clark has admitted that he still sees homophobia in practice every day.

The singer and media personality is openly gay and it seems this has caused some friction with closed-minded sections of the public.

However, the former X Factor star told the Metro that he doesn't care what other people think - because he's happy with his own life. He said:

"Homophobia is still an issue. I encounter it every day. It's everywhere. But, at the end of the day, I'm loving my life, I'm rich, I'm tanned, I'm getting new teeth, I'm over the moon. I could not give a f**k."

Discussing the issue of gay marriage, Rylan Clark added: "I think it's 2013 years too late. I don't understand why it has taken this long but that's that. I want to get married but I have to find a husband first."

Clark also touched on his desire to become a father, commenting: "I want kids, the house, the car, the normal life as much as I am living a crazy one at the minute."
