Waka Flocka Flame on Amanda Bynes' rap career: 'The industry better get ready for her'

According to rapper Waka Flocka Flame, American actress Amanda Bynes is poised to launch a new career as a rap artist.

Speaking to E! News, Waka Flocka Flame, whose real name is Juaquin Malphurs, revealed that he is helping Bynes with her hip hop music aspirations.

He said: “She wanted to produce a single so that she could potentially have an album. So she was like, she wanted to go to the club and she wanted to be inside the club. So I'm like, you know I'm the king of the club, not to be all arrogant, but that's just what the fans voted me. So I might as well go ahead and take her to the club and… introduce her to the lifestyle.”

Commenting on Bynes’ recent controversial antics, including instigating Twitter feuds with the likes of Rihanna and Perez Hilton, and being arrested in New York where she was charged with attempted evidence tampering, reckless endangerment and marijuana possession, the rapper defended her by saying:

“I felt like I guess she's misunderstood... she's cool man, it ain't nothing like that, she's ultimately cool.”

Waka Flocka Flame, who is signed to 1017 Brick Squad Records, believes that Amanda Bynes has the potential to take the music world by storm as he stated: ''She's a great person and the industry better get ready for her.''
