Nile Rodgers wants to play with Daft Punk at next Glastonbury

Nile Rodgers has admitted that he would love to perform live with Daft Punk at the next Glastonbury Festival.

The Chic guitarist previously teamed up with the French duo for their mega-hit track 'Get Lucky', which appeared on their 2013 album 'Random Access Memories'.

Daft Punk were tipped by the bookies for a secret slot at this weekend's Glastonbury, but no such event took place.

However, Rodgers hinted that he wants to collaborate with the electronic hitmakers at the next Glastonbury. He told the Daily Star at this year's festival:

"I'd love to come back. What I did with Daft Punk was so special I refuse to do it live without them. If they want to plan something I would seriously listen. Whether that’s a tour or taking shows to the next level they can call me."

'Get Lucky' meanwhile was recently revealed as this year's first single to hit one million sales in the UK.
