Passenger: 'Ed Sheeran launched my career, he's wonderful'

Singer-songwriter Passenger (real name Mike Rosenberg) has revealed that British hitmaker Ed Sheeran is responsible for kickstarting his success as a recording artist.

During an interview with Absolute Radio, the 'Let Her Go' rising star explained that he has known Sheeran for a while and credits him with helping launch his name:

"We've been mates for about five years. We met when we were on the same bill at a local gig and really liked what each other were doing."

"When Ed got massive he took me on tour with him and changed my life. I love him - he's a wonderful guy."

Back in March, the pair collaborated live on air and performed a mash-up of Macklemore's 'Thrift Shop' with 'No Diggity' by Blackstreet.
