Justin Timberlake and Macklemore lead mid-year SoundScan charts

The mid-year charts have been released by Nielsen SoundScan and it shows that 2013's biggest album so far is Justin Timberlake's 'The 20/20 Experience' and the biggest digital song is Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's 'Thrift Shop', which also features Wanz.

June 30 marked the halfway point for SoundScan's chart tracking and Timberlake's latest full-length offering is the only record to have passed the 1 million sales mark.

Billboard reports that Bruno Mars's 'Unorthodox Jukebox' is a close second, after shifting an impressive 985,000 copies.

'The 20/20 Experience' also enjoyed the biggest first week sales figures for any album in 2013, selling 968,000 copies in just 7 days.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have another track in the best-selling digital songs of the year Top 10 as their song 'Can't Hold Us', which features Ray Dalton, came in at No.6 with 3.1 million.
