Johnny Depp has revealed how he got One Direction to visit his house.

The 'Live While We're Young' boyband were snapped late last year with the Hollywood A-lister inside his home.

Singer Zayn Malik soon after admitted that he was too nervous to meet the actor, meaning that only four members of the group shook hands with Depp.

The Pirates of the Caribbean man recently told Jimmy Kimmel's TV show that the idea came about after his daughter wanted to see the group on the Ellen show. He said:

"My daughter, she's a great fan of One Direction and she asked if she could go to see them on the Ellen show. So I hooked it up."

One Direction were then persuaded to visit Depp's house, much to the delight of his daughter.
