'90s boyband New Kids On The Block have shared a few words of wisdom with superstar Justin Bieber, who has been having a tough time with the press lately.

The 'Hang Tough' group told E! News that the 'Boyfriend' heartthrob should just ignore the media and enjoy the moments his success gives him because what he has managed to achieve so far is amazing:

"We don't know how many stories are exaggerated. Don't listen to the hype of the media... Just be you, have fun. Have fun would be the main thing [I'd tell him]!"

Member Joey McIntyre offered his opinion on Bieber's recent downfalls, which include being sued for assault by a photographer following an incident in 2012 and also facing a possible battery charge for supposedly spitting at a neighbour, and said:

"When I think of what I did when I was 19 or 20... I made some mistakes and I think we all have. Unfortunately for some people, they have to live it all over the world or all over the internet. You kind of feel for the kid. He's probably making some mistakes but hopefully he will get through it and realise there is more to life than playing arenas."
