Little Mix have revealed that One Direction told them to enjoy every minute of their career because it will go by so fast.

The two acts have enjoyed a good rapport over the last couple of years after meeting on the UK X Factor.

Perrie Edwards meanwhile started dating One Direction's Zayn Malik and they are still going strong to this day.

Speaking to Teen Vogue, Little Mix's Jade Thirwall said that the 'Kiss You' group have always been on hand to help them in times of need. She said:

"The 1D boys are really supportive of us. We met them on the X Factor and we asked for advice then to help us get through the show."

The 'Wings' singer added: “They said the main thing is to just enjoy it because it goes so quickly. [They said] just to enjoy every minute of it and to work hard and just be ourselves because that’s what people like at the end of the day."
