Tom Odell's teacher tells all about his behaviour as a student

'Another Love' singer Tom Odell was a 'mischievous' student according to one of his former teachers at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM).

Lecturer Ian Sillet explained to BANG Showbiz that the musician enjoyed 'cracking jokes' at school and was very playful: "He was mischievous. He'd take the p**s out of me quite happily, which I didn't mind. He did it in a way that was respectful but it was funny. He had a sharp wit and we had banter quite often."

Sillet added that while he's unsure if Odell was a ladies' man during his time at BIMM, he was a very popular boy in general:

"I'm sure he was [popular with the ladies]. It was difficult for me to see all that from where I was standing. He was just generally popular but I'm pretty sure he must have been.'

Odell, meanwhile, is currently No.1 in the UK with his debut album although Mumford & Sons' 'Babel' overtook it in the midweek update on Wednesday, July 3.
