Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has admitted that after a career of ups and downs she looks forward to using her marriage to get away from ‘Kerry Katona’.

In a candid interview with The Guardian, Katona mused on her troubled upbringing, her public fall from grace as well as the loves in her life. She has already had two marriages, one to former Westlife star Brian McFadden and a second to taxi driver Mark Croft. The singer and reality star has four children from the marriages.

But Katona has a new love in her life, one she believes will solve more than just her loneliness. She first met George Kay as a youngster, but the pair reconnected years later.

"George is amazing. He makes me feel so good about myself: 'Morning beautiful! You're stunning, you're amazing, you're strong, go and exercise', you know," she says. "Even my mum says he's the one.

"I feel like I've been with George for years,” she adds. “I feel like we're married already.”

And one thing Katona is looking forward to is "just not to be Kerry Katona for a change". After the wedding later this year, Katona plans to become Mrs Kay. "Because I fucking hate Kerry Katona. I hate that, hate it," she says.
