Rita Ora: “I was ashamed of my body”

Despite her recent racy shoot for GQ, pop singer Rita Ora admits that she wasn’t always confident in her figure.

The ‘R.I.P.’ singer says that her low self-esteem point came while she was growing up and developing into a young woman. Talking to the Daily Star, Ora explained: “There was a point in school when I didn’t feel comfortable at all.

“I matured quicker than the other girls. I had bigger breasts and a bigger bum – and hated it. I’d get extra-tight leotards for dance classes to flatten me because I was ashamed of my body.”
